Preparation for the long ride needs to consider the weather and for reference I have a link to weather forecasts for Daegu (which is around the half way mark to Busan).
According to the last 10 years records Daegu's weather towards the end of April is on average cool (10-18deg C) which is not bad for cycling.

Asian Dust is another risk we need to consider, however looking at the timeseries charts for Daegu it was pretty low last year late April. Forecasts will start to be posted from March on the following website.
